The base is manufatured from heavy cast iron base along with three levelling screws having horizontal graduated 220 mm scale for accurate vernier readings in 1/2mm division with every cm numbered and same in case of vertical graduated 150 mm scale in which it measures prominent readings in 1/2mm division with every cm numbered. One can take the vernier readings in 0.01mm OR 0.001cm. 

The slide can be clamped at any position by means of a clamping screw with rack and pinion fine focusing knob can be set vertically or horizontally. The microscope tube is fitted with 10x Eye Piece with cross line graticule & an achromatic 2" or 3" focal length objective of superior quality. Our travelling microscope finds applications in measurement of diameters of wool & nylon, in physics labs for accurate determinations of small variations in liquid variations & manometers and for measuring the refractive index of liquids as well as in surface tension & viscosity experiments and is supplied in a sturdy wooden box.
